How to Get free 500MB on mtn using Mymtn App

Hey guys! Its been long we enjoyed free data, on this article I'll teach you how to get free 500mb on my your mtn sim card using Mymtn app.


MTN is truly giving out free 500MB data for downloading the MyMTN app.




The good news here is that this 500mb works like normal data and can be used to browse and download on any platform or website. Also, this is not the first time we'll getting this free data from MTN: Mid last year, we used the MTN MyApp trick to accumulate 1GB free data. But i'm not sure if you can accumulate this 500mb, instead you can use do it on multiple SIMs.

So you'll find the links to download the MyMTN app for Android and iOS devices below, how to activate the free 500mb, validity period and how to also check your data balance.

How to Download MyMTN App

You can text MyApp to 131 to get the link. But if it doesn't work for you:

-> Download MyMTN app for iPhones here.



How to Activate MTN MyApp Free 500MB Data

Launch the app you just downloaded, then signup with your MTN number to activate your account.

Once downloaded,  Input your phone number and the Otp sent to your device.

Refresh the page to activate your free 500Mb.



Now, the free 500MB data will be credited to your line.
Dial *559*4# to confirm/check your balance.
You can register multiple SIM cards to get more 500MB.


Please note that the data is valid for 3 days after which it'll vanish.

    I tried the test message but it says that it is incorrect,then I also tried the Mymtn App, which refuse connection to server. Please how do I resolve it?
